How Do I Get to My Forms Again if I Already eFiled Them?
If you e-filed your forms at the end of your interview, you received an email at the email address you registered your account with. The email confirms that your forms were submitted to the court. At the bottom of the email you'll find links to the documents you submitted. Click on the links to see a copy of your forms. Then you can print or save your forms. If you don't get a confirmation email within 10 minutes of e-filing your forms, try checking your email Junk or Spam folder.
After the clerk accepts your forms, you will get another email confirming that your documents were accepted. At the bottom of that email, you'll find links to the official, stamped version of your documents that the court accepted. Click on those links if you need to see the stamped copy of your documents. You may need to get the stamped copy to serve on other parties in the case if you have not already served them.
If the clerk rejects your forms, you will get an email letting you know your filing was rejected and why. Look for the Returned Reason and the Returned Comments fields in the email for information about why your filing was rejected. Then follow the instructions in this article to go back to your interview, make corrections, and e-file your forms again.
You can also get to the documents you e-filed by going to the eFile site for your state. Click here to find the eFile site for your state. Then use your Guide & File login and password on the eFile site to log in. Follow the instructions in this article about the Filing History to get to the documents you have e-filed. Then under the Actions list on the right side of the filing you want to see, choose View Envelope Details. From that screen, you can download copies of the documents you submitted.
